The Guardians (draft 2)

Darkness encroaches on the kingdom of Lyera, it has been for hundreds of years, ever since the sun disappeared. The forces of light and dark worked together in harmony to balance the kingdom in the absence of the sun, but after an attempted murder, the darkness was banished from the land, left to fend for itself until it grew powerful enough to get its revenge.

Lyera was a peaceful and prosperous Kingdom for many years, but with war imminent, Lyeras only hope rests on its newest generation of Guardians,untrained, unprepared and underage. Blessed with incredible powers, only they have the chance at defeating the darkness that threatens to destroy their kingdom.
Aspen, the Plant Guardian: A boy with a dark demeanor and an even darker past
Ashe, the Fire Guardian: A girl with fiery determination and the burning desire to prove herself
River, the Water Guardian: A boy as calm as a the waves, but fiercely loyal
Sky, the Air Guardian: A girl with soft ways and with a hidden strength

Together they must put aside their differences and team up with an unlikely ally to fend off the darkness before all is lost
