-Hoax is one of my favorite songs on folklore so I dissected it
-Sorry for any bad grammar, that's what happens when I get too exited
-There are two main theories I have seen; the first is it's about Scoot B, and the the second Joe. The first time I heard it I thought Joe but as I made this I began to think it was about Scott.
I thought I should include Aaron Dessner's explanation: "This is a big departure. I think she said to me, "Don't try to give it any other space other than what feels natural to you." If you leave me in a room with a piano, I might play something like this. I take a lot of comfort in this. I think I imagined her playing this and singing it. After writing all these songs, this one felt the most emotional and, in a way, the rawest. It is one of my favorites. There's sadness, but it's a kind of hopeful sadness. It's a recognition that you take on the burden of your partners, your loved ones, and their ups and downs. That's both "peace" and "hoax" to me. That's part of how I feel about those songs because I think that's life. There's a reality, the gravity or an understanding of the human condition."

Let me tell you a tale (A true story) By Aaron Sedgwick (Title based on The Verve song- History which, along with her inspired and pushed me to all this) 1. At 26 I was arrested for criminal damage for standing up to my prestigious family, not harming anyone, just after the christmas holiday after they took me away from the girl I loved on lies so my uncle could fuck her and force me into a life they planned for themmself to force me into the navy or armed forces. I snapped finally and when finding out everything and I followed myself without fear or corruprion only truth and fought back and I was arrested from lies from my dads fiancée telling the police I threw a plant pot to get me locked up and away, which was a lie, though I did react and kick a hole in the fence. I realized all this after spending a night in a cell then the police telling me what she said in the interrogation room. WARNING: If you want something to read that will make you laugh, read on. I wrote this 2 years ago so I'm just letting you know that there will definitely be mistakes and it will be so informal with smileys in the writing and it's just so bad, I can't get through the first chapter without laughing. The Cruelest Summer
To say Summer 2016 was monumental for Taylor would be a massive understatement. She met the love of her life, feuded with pop culture's biggest power couple, ended two highly publicized romances, dismantled her "squad", and dealt with lots of family drama. It's no wonder so many songs in her discography touch upon these themes. This story focuses on Taylor and Joe's love story but has other plot points. I tried to make it as accurate as possible, referencing song lyrics, things Tay/Joe have said in interviews, and known Taylor sightings. Of course, as this is a fanfic, take everything with a grain of salt- I'm just a swiftie head cannoning lol. Most importantly though, happy reading!!
