"You should have told me!" Askari yelled, taking a step closer. "Why?" M.J. said back, she too, taking a step closer. It was way too close for her liking, but M.J. wouldn't back down. "You could've gotten yourself killed! Almost did!" Askari ran a frustrated hand through his black, silky hair. "I can look after myself," M.J. retorted. They were inches apart, their breaths fanning each other's faces. "I can't loose you!" Askari yelled, "I can't loose you. And I can't protect you when you are protecting everyone else," his voice had dropped, barely above a whisper. Guilt gnawed at M.J.'s stomach. As she cupped her hand on Askari's cheek. "You will never lose me." *************************************************** M.J. is determined to save her little sister when a demon portal opens, she goes to extreme measures to secure her five-year-old sister's safety. But when another portal is opened, she is thrown into a world of angels and danger. Separated from her world, stuck with an annoying legendary angel, Askari, M.J. has to find her way back to her world, for if she doesn't... Bad things will happen. Will she survive?
