The refugee camp set outside of the Kingdom of Hagasa Fiore is what people would call, "the shadow casted by the light." With the unfair situations here, the people are willing to do whatever it takes to survive. Among them is a certain thirteen year old, who goes by the name of Kaiji Aken. A problem child that has always been considered an outcast. However, after a certain incident, and maybe a few strange things, Kaiji seeks out to find what was truly lost, and what is truly gained.
