Oryx.
The Taken King.
Is strong. But the guardians are stronger.
And now Oryx is supposed to be frozen, floating through space, for all eternity.
But something unknown happens.
And now Oryx finds himself upon a Human world.
His sword clutched tightly in his hand. But it has been changed.
It now holds a blue gem. Embedded in the blade.
(I do not own Destiny or Rising of the shield Hero.)
(This story takes place around the end of the Red War. The cutscene where the Traveller awakens.)

This story is the third in a ten-book series based on the video game franchise, "Destiny," developed by Bungie. The universe of Destiny is a science-fictional setting taking place in the future, where Humanity has been reduced to a singular city on Earth, and must rely on the Guardians, Humans who wield a power known as the Light, to defend them from various alien threats within the Sol system. This saga is NOT intended to be 100% lore accurate, and should be taken as an alternate timeline from the main canon. The primary purpose of this fanfiction is to re-tell the story that takes place in Destiny and its sequel, Destiny 2, but with a twist.
