Arik Boke Omer Erdenet, eager to make a life for himself on his own merit and away from the darkness of his family, establishes a shoe design company with his best friend since college, Sinan. He succeeds in leaps and bounds and his life is going well. He is the best shoe designer in Turkey and he is deeply in love with Defne, his assistant turned girlfriend, but his past has refused to stay there and comes stampeding through his immaculate life.
NB!!! Most of the Characters are not my own creation and their backgrounds are inspired by multiple Turkish series.
NB: Pardon any missed grammar issues and plot holes, guys. It's just a story I just wanted to write when I was an avid viewer of Turkish series and I have been sitting on it for over a year. It's not finished and I hope I finish it at some point, but I will share what I have in the meantime. The idea of a combined alternate universe intrigued me. Hope you enjoy it.

Land or Water?
Sollux was by the ocean, sitting on the dock one day. He doesn't really have the greatest life on land, he was fired from his job, he needed money to pay rent for his apartment, he didn't have many friends, and things just didn't work out for him anymore. As he gets up to leave from the dock, he falls into the ocean, but then he's saved by some mystery person and when he finds out it was a merman who saved him, he becomes great friends with him and finds out that his name is Eridan. But then, Eridan's father disapproves of their friendship and does something horrible. Sollux then finds Eridan with tons of cuts and bruises all over him, on the beach and helps him out. He does all of this while keeping him secret from everyone else except for his best friend, Karkat. After some time, he realizes that he can't stay on land if he wants to keep Eridan safe. Sollux will have to choose whether to stay on land and look for a different way to help him, or to become a merman himself and live in the water for the rest of his life. Dear friends(Alev Alev fans,mostly Cicder) I wrote this story after series end ,we couldn't see a happy end for our favorite couple so one ide came on me.
