Before The End

Tyson and Rin St. James were normal teenagers. Tyson played video games, and Rin was more into books and learning.

Nothing could've prepared them for what was coming.

Time is now the enemy.

Humanity will either perish in the hellfire to come, or emerge from the ashes like the mighty Phoenix.

Only time, will tell.

Excerpt from 'Before the End':

"...I'd ask how you found all these kids, but I'm sure I wouldn't like the answer." He says with a sideways glance at me.

"All around I'd say we have a good group here, and assuming they don't wash out in the next few weeks as their training progresses, we should be able to move forward relatively quickly, maybe even finish ahead of schedule."

I shake my head, happy at the progress report. 'But, there'll be no finishing early. We need to make sure we get as much training and conditioning in as possible. Down to the last seconds before impact if possible.' I think to myself, but say, "Good. That's good news. Now, I think we've kept them in the dark long enough, don't you? What do you say we go in and meet the saviors of the human race?"
