I slowly dropped my hands to the horns of the mask-jolting once the guy protectively held the rock higher in case I tried something-I softened my shaking movements, raising the mask completely off my face. Without the mask... with the fire... My eyes found the green gems of his eyes. He was... Handsome. My hands slowly lifted up to brush wild curls from my own face. Removing anything that would obstruct my view of him. Him. The guy leaped back, DROPPING the rock directly onto my foot. I shrieked-obviously in pain. ___ BOOM! a flash of light came from the clouds. Rain pelleted down on us. I stared blankly watching Grug attempt to punch the drops. "So," I glanced over to Eon, "You've seen rain, right?" "We don't get out much." Belt pulled an umbrella from my side, handing it to me. He pulled Eon towards me as I opened the umbrella-glancing to my right, I saw Eon's arm hesitating on whether to wrap around my waist. I gently, nudged closer to him and for a split second I felt his hand against me-well until the to umbrella got snatched from me by Grug. I glared at him. Annnnd some lighting stuck the umbrella, shocking him. With a shake of my head I pulled out another umbrella, covering Eon and I again. ________ it's a short book-I was bored 😭✋Complete

"I'm bein' serious as all outdoors, I can't say it." Jack says. "Maybe because you talk like a weed whacker." I say. Jack looks taken back by my comment. "You're funny. I like you...Kerin?" Jack says. "Keep trying." I say. "Jack, why don't you help Kieran settle into his room?" Roger suggests putting so much emphasis on my name, I almost forget how to say it. "You mean my room? Sure thing, Father." Jack huffs. Wait... I have to share a room with that thing? He looks like he bites. "Don't worry, Kieran. He don't bite." Roger assures me. Did I say that aloud or has Jack bitten in the past? **************************** Kieran's life is in shambles. His parents suddenly die in a car accident and he is sent to his father's next of kin, Roger all the way in Georgia. He doesn't know Roger, He doesn't like Georgia, and worse - they live on farm and Roger has 7 kids. Scott shot at them and the arrow hit one of the lions, which all started to chase him. Scott screamed for help as he ran, trying to get out. Trying to find others who could actually save and protect him. ~•~ Scott is a hunter, who is actually a big scaredy cat and longs for a life different than the one he has, and Jimmy is a free bird who can do basically anything he wants. It all changes when Scott and Jimmy meet. Hybrids end up showing up more, some getting captured and hurt.
