Diane Bluewood comes from a special bloodline – the Medusa Bloodline. For as long as she’s known all the females in her family have been cursed with the ability to turn anyone who looks into their eyes to stone. On the bright side, these foolish beings aren’t actually dead; they’re just in a temporary stone state. The only way to free them is for the Medusa to die, and there is only one way for that to happen; they have to be murdered.
Now meet Jedidiah. He’s a hunter on a quest – to kill all the Medusas left in this world. He’s a trained assassin who has long learnt how to mask his emotions. What he didn’t count on was meeting the one Medusa who always manages to slip through his fingers, and having that minx evoke long-forgotten feelings in him.
The catch: Diane doesn’t know that Jedidiah is a hunter, and neither know that they are both running out of time…
