Evlyn Ashryver Whitethorn Galathynius is the heir of Terreson. Evlyn becomes overwhelmed by being Heir and having an overprotective family that never lets her out of their sights. Evly runs away with her mare Mercy. Evelyn Buys a boat and she crosses the Great ocean with Mercy. Evlyn and Mercy start traveling and they become lost. Evlyn is home sick. On a road a group of bandits attack her. She and a male fight them off. The male introduced himself as Vaughan. Evlyn remembered him from the crade's stories. He makes a deal with her; He'll help her get home if she helps him kill someone. Will she get home or will she die trying?
