"Well, if you don't recognise this diary, then why did you tremble when I took it out of the pocket of my jacket? Why did the book in your hand fall on the ground, which is still lying there, by the way. So Prachi, for the last time I am asking you tell me, what is the truth?" he said.
She looked him in the eye. Embers ignited within them with the anger and sorrow told her everything he was going through. She almost fell weak in her knees, but realising that it wasn't the time to get weak, she gathered herself and said that she did not have an idea about what he was talking about.
At this time, he lost it. Her words struck him like lightening. The embers in his eyes rolled down on his cheeks and fell directly on her great toe. As she sensed it, she flinched again. He fell on his knees on the ground and in her feet. And she melted like a candle by his flame and sat down on her knees, in front of him.
She looked into his eyes and gave up all the truth, just through the eyes and he caught it, through his gaze.
After 6 years, Prachi and Dhruv has come in front of each other. Reason? A diary. A diary has revealed a secret that's gonna change both of their lives. What is it that the diary knows but the humans don't? How the truth in the diary will change their lives? Let's find out.
**Note - This story has a narration of an extra marital affair. Neither I, as a writer of the story justify it nor I encourage it. It is just a part of the story.
