Caitlyn isn't perfect.
Bradley isn't rude.
But the circumstances surrounding them makes it seem like that.
Caitlyn suffers from anorexia.
Bradley suffers from depression.
But they're both doing a perfect job in hiding it.
Caitlyn despises the fact that "rude" Bradley has to live with she and her brother as she sees it as some kind of invasion of privacy.
Bradley finds it disgusting, the fact that "spolt" Caitlyn doesn't value the fact that she has a roof over her head, proper food to eat and a happy life.
Both of their worlds clash and things go spiralling down.

Here she is. I can see the slope of her spine through that thin shirt. She's made of angles I ache to smooth with a hand, but I'd use my lips if she asked. I brush her knuckles with mine. Her skin is cold, but she flips her palm for more contact. I lace our fingers. It's enough to make her look at me. As those kaleidoscopic eyes meet mine, I hold my breath.
