Target

"Red..."

I shakily point the gun at my target as the moonlight shines on us through the broken window. I watched as the woman that I had been training to kill for years slowly painted the snow around her red. With a trembling bloody hand, she reached out and held the other end of the gun... With those beautiful icy eyes that had slowly come to love.

"Weiss..."

This should've been easy. I can just pull the trigger and all of this would be over. I could go back home as a hero, for finally killing the heir of the Schnee Dust Company. This would've been what my parents wanted right? for me to avenge them? But how come, after so many years of pain and anger can I not kill this woman who has taken everything from me? How did it all get to this?
