Shay was born with the ability to speak and see the dead. She can summon them and use it to her advantage, but sometimes it's hard to keep them away.
 
If that wasn't bad enough, her mother died when she was 8, and was left with an alcoholic abusive father and a baby sister to take care of.

Will Shay find her place in the world or will she be caught in her endless cycle of nothingness? Will she be able to get her sister out of that house and protect herself in the process? Or will she be trapped with her curse?
