Young Elora Nichols wakes up in hospital, not knowing anything about her. The first person she meets is Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the cold but beautiful doctor. Dr. Phillips and Dr. Cullen try to save her life, but at the same time tell her who she is. It proves more difficult than expected, and Elora must choose between her mortal life and an immortal life. The only person stopping her from making her life complete is her father - Gale. With the Volturi following her and Gale following her, she must choose who she wants to defend. Herself, her father, her family, or the love of her life.
