A Sumerian portal device is unearthed in southern Iraq. No one knows how the ancients achieved such technology, or whether they found the gods on the other side of the universe. But one thing is clear: the world is ending, and the device may be humanity's last chance of surviving.

"The name and cover were entrancing as well as the description and characters both had me intrigued since the beginning...I'm very impressed. Very well-written novel." -LonelyWriter06

When his worst fear comes true, Asgard's Dark Prince will stop at nothing to rescue his pregnant consort. Yet, not even the threat of Asgard's forces looming in the skies over Alfheim can force the Unseelie Winter Realm Elves to produce Shannon when she's missing from her cell. Nightmares of his previous wife's death at the hands of the Unseelie haunt him as he searches for Shannon. A feisty, newly immortal Elven Goddess, Shannon isn't the type to wait for rescue. Cut-off from connecting with her soulmate Loki by a dwarven iron cuff, she doesn't know who to trust. Although born on Alfheim, Shannon has no memories of this planet or its realms. Surrounded by dark forces wielding the power of blood sacrifices, this mortal-scientist-turned-goddess must rely on her wits and limited, dwindling energy resources for her and her child's survival. Only weeks remain in her pregnancy, and the Fates don't play fair. The cost to save her son may be more than her heart can bear. Some truths are hard to swallow. Some laws of the universe can't be fought. Book Two of the Triquetra Prophecy Trilogy within the Gods Among Us universe is based in an amalgamation of world mythologies including Norse, West Coast First Nations, Mesoamerican, Celtic, Greek, Egyptian, and Chinese, blended with our current modern world, and expanded to other worlds across multiple solar systems within this alternate universe. ** THIS BOOK IS NOW AVAILABLE on all major retailers. If you want to read it for free and review, it is on booksprout and booksirens (see links within Update Chapter). There is a five chapter preview here, but the full story is no longer on Wattpad. Empire. At the end only Empire remains. No matter how many times you rebel Empire remains. No matter how many times you fight for your democratic Empire remains. Now bend for your emperorr. Welcome readers to my fantasy world. I have brought you something beyond the constraints of my imagination, and I wonder if many are ready for it; however, a good story must be told, and I am fortunate to be the one to tell it. Imagine a world where the vile nature of mankind creeps its ugly head as humanity faces its first and last major catastrophe. The world plunged into everlasting darkness, entrenched in chaos and disorder, where hope is a distant flitting memory. The story I propose to my fellow readers follows Anthony Verdun, who was only a boy when all he knew was taken from him in an instant. Like many others, on that day, those who survived lost a part of themselves, forever scarred by the family, friends, and loved ones they lost. Their lives changed forever; how could it not? I welcome you to join the world I have created, indulge in this hypothetical, and dive into this what-if. What that is, well, you would have to read to find out. Weekly chapter uploads, so stay vigilant. Here is the link to the community discord, where we can discuss the book further. [Featured: EDITOR'S CHOICE] Káel didn't think his life could get worse after being abducted by an alien posing as a Russian exchange student. Until that 'one day' turned into three months, and he was forced to get cozy on a post-war planet fresh out of the dark ages. Forced to attend an unorthodox combat school, Káel's become a dubious spook magnet, and the trash of Lumer society for saving a dragon during physed class. To make matters worse, the only person who can help him seems to be a holographic fugitive he's harbouring in a rock. All in all, he has one goal. Home. Desperate to get back to the comfort of his Wifi before another unicorn tries to impale him, Káel will do anything short of intentional murder to pop a one way ticket to Earth, but he's already set off a Goldberg monstrosity that's turned his bland life on its head... And some of his new 'friends' have their own agendas. ---------- #1 in Fantasy (best glitch ever) #3 in Fantasy 06/15/2019 #5 in Adventure - 05/05/2019 #5 in Action - 05/05/2019 #4 in Fantasy - 05/05/2019 The Chillin Awards - 2nd place (Science Fiction) Dog Summer 2018 Awards - 3rd place (Fantasy) COGNITION Awards - Special mention (Science Fiction) Featured List - "EDITOR'S CHOICE" - 11/13/2018
