WATTY AWARDS ENTRY 2012 I looked down at the stupid little cat in front of me, the bells on his collar jingled and the name on his collar reflected on to the walls. Steve. What a stupid name for a stupid cat. Hell, it was a stupid idea to even get a stupid cat. A cat at all, even. I was just about to pull out my phone and tell that annoying, bubbly animal shelter clerk that I’d changed my mind when Steve the cat turned into Steve the teenaged guy. The hot teenaged guy. Emmy Noel was lonely. It was her first year in College. The first year without her massive family crowding her and invading her precious personal space. But instead of feeling relieved that she could spend some time on her own without being pranked by her troublesome little brothers, she was lonely. So when she picked up the cutest cat ever from the nearest animal centre she thought that she was in the right. That was until Steve the cat transformed into a very handsome, sexy, male model.Complete
Going Nowhere
My name is Hibiscus Brown, my best friend is a unicorn and my life is going absolutely nowhere. Oh, and I'm a witch. At least partly - the rest is all werewolf. After growling a little to loudly, Hibiscus, Kitty, Brown finds herself in the unfortunate situation of having to move back home to live with her dad /the werewolf/, her step-mom /the werebear/, and all the other creatures living in a small town called Nowhere. Surely it's just temporary? Surely even a half-witch/half-werewolf can figure out what she wants to do with her life? Surely the handsome werewolf who just moved back will ignore her, like he /mostly/ did when they were in high school? And surely the mysterious dark stranger who seems to pop up just about everywhere will help her when she needs it? Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. Sticking to his morals meant being left for dead by those in charge. By chance, he meets Luc, a member of the planet's sentient avian humanoid species. All Jessie wants to do now is live out the rest of his days with him, and hopefully get past the language barrier that prevents him from communicating the feelings of love he hopes are mutual. Unfortunately, sightings of a human and an alien together are more interesting to the colony's higher-ups than one would hope. *** Born the runt of his clutch, Luc had never held anyone so small, so soft... He was all Jessie had, so he would do everything to shield him from others of his kind, and by extension, protect the whole human race. -------- AVIAN has been COMPLETED on the writer's end (30 chapters + five bonus stories) and is on a bi-weekly upload schedule.
