A few years after Shuriki took over Avalor your uncle betrayed your parents and took over your kingdom. Your parents sacrificed themselves to protect you and your older brother, but you being the only one in the family other then your uncle to have magical powers your parents trapped you in a mirror to keep you safe. Years later the newly queened Elena comes a cross the mirror and with help from Mateo they free you and deside to help you take back your kingdom.
