Broken to pieces

Hester O'conner is just like you on the inside but there's something missing on the inside. She's missing love. After her fathers mom died he started drinking and finally got addicted. He used alcohol as a way to get free of his problems. But he started creating problem of his own. He became abusive. He kept getting worse and worse until his wife couldn't take it anymore and left. Hester was all alone battling the war of the world against her skinny, bruised shoulders. But some of that weight is taken off when she meets Cole. Cole David the schools bad boy. He always gets into fights and hurts people.

But can someone that hurts people actually be able to heal some one that's hurt?
