Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Lyra is Red's cousin sister, with Red being an experienced trainer, he acts like a mentor to her. Q - So time travel happens in this one? A - It does, and its fun how it plays out. Q - Who is this Masked Man? There was a masked man in the manga too. A - While the idea was original, a mystery man who structures every Team Rocket plan and assists Giovanni. I was shocked to see that the manga had someone named "Masked Man" as well. Q - Who is this Masked Man? And why is he important? A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. There was an organization called "Team Rocket". Their evil boss, Giovanni wanted to use an army of Pokemon to take over the Kanto region. However, this plan of mind changed when he wanted to take over the Pokemon World due to having many powerful pokemons that he can use for his own gain. He theorized that there was a another universe that there was a world just like the world he was living in but different. He and all people was created by this world. He called this world, "Earth" and therefore it was called "The Reality". However, when he told this to everyone, they laughed at him for being stupid. Giovanni wanted to prove them wrong by forcing his workers to research about it to see if this so called "The Reality" is real. Few weeks later.. It was proven true and Giovanni was very proud about it. The workers told him that they'll send a portal to "The Reality" but however, it will lead to someone's bedroom but Giovanni doesn't care and wanted to experiment on the person when they go through it so he orders them to send the portal to "The Reality". I was born in Hoenn, when my parents died I got adopted by their friend Professor Sycamore, now I live in Lumiose City. I usually assist the Professor with his day to day tasks, but now that I'm getting older it might be time to go off on my own adventure. Not long after my 12th birthday Eevee and I begin our journey in Hoenn, I wonder what wonderful things we will experience. But what I do not know is that Hoenn is home to two evil teams, Team Aqua and Team Magma, with another team from Kanto following a certain young trainer there as well, my journey will be a whole lot more exciting than I initially imagined.
