Follow the Lightning

Elli's shy, secretive, and mainly alone after her best friend leaves her for a boyfriend. Her dreams are bigger than she is, and she's full of talents that she hides away from even herself. But when she meets Louis, he lights a new spark in her, a feeling she's never had before, and suddenly she wants to share her whole world with this one boy. Louis, struggling to recover from a depression that took him into alcohol and self-harm, finds himself feeling instinctively protective of this girl, but doesn't want to hurt her. Can Louis overcome his harsh past and nurture this new love, or will they both end up heartbroken?
