Castiel Novak isn't a normal boy, something when he was little had happened to him. Castiel's parents died in a train accident, and he had to move to his aunt and uncle, meanwhile, starting a new school with new surroundings and, of course, new people.
Castiel was diagnosed with severe depression, and they thought it was because of the lost of his parents, but he has had this depression for years now, and it only gets worse.
In earlier years, Castiel was a shy, little boy, who didnt like new people, and didn't talk to anyone except his aunt and uncle. Then, he met Dean, the green eyed 10 year old boy, who was never afraid to strike. they became best friends and they always did everything together.
Castiel got a perfect life with a perfect family, but what happens when Dean moves to a new country and Castiel is left alone? Everything goes so fast, and something happened in the forest, and Castiel only remembers Dean as an imaginary friend, and his life falls apart.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
