Until the Day She Becomes a Sunflower tells the story of an average looking teen girl, Hanna Gonzales, who lives a not so average teen life. Under the care of her psychotic mother and haunted by the memories of her father Hanna was able to overcome the trauma, abuse, and torment at school with the help of her best friend, Nick before he disappeared. Three years later Nick has returned but the world has shaped into someone completely different. Will Hanna finally be able to tell him how she feels? Or will fate force her to let him go in order to fully bloom?
