Long ago, heroes defended the world. One of those heroes was the blue square everyone is familiar with. However, years have passed, and since then, they have retired now that the villains have not shown up within the years. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. When corruption starts up again, and heroes are needed, who will come to the rescue? The answer lies in a group of shapes with nothing in common, all with different backgrounds. Can they work together just this once to defeat the evil once more? ----- Side note: This story was made in 2019 so that's why it looks kinda bad. I was mostly waiting on others for their parts, and things got busy with me so writing the boss chapters also took a long time. Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Paradise used to be like a fantasy, peaceful and filled with life. But when the first corruption attacked- every thing changed. The corruption already failed 3 times to concur paradise. I Wonder when the 4 corruption will happen. We just have to wait and see. ( Hello this is my first time making a fan fiction of jsab the timeline of events might be a bit wonky but I'll try to fix that later on. Hope you all will enjoy it!) The fact that his ex-boyfriend comes from a notorious crime family, and has been arrested several times by Jack's own department, doesn't matter. Salem's passed that, he's over Atlas Marino and he always will be. He will ignore that scratch in his record, and cover it up with his success. Salem is offered a job to help with an investigation that could benefit his future career astronomically. He thinks it's a win-win situation, he gets the recognition he desires, and the streets will be that much safer. It's all black and white to him, easy to understand. He likes the order, and he craves the accomplishment of defeating bad with good. It's all black and white. Until he gets caught in the grey.
