this story will take you through the mind of richie tozier, his friends, and the struggle of love and friendship they all endure. 

tw: mentions of alcohol, drugs, parents fighting, abuse, violence, mental illness (depression, anxiety, etc. ), the use of the f slur, and vulgar language.
other warning: mentions of sexual actions but nothing beyond kissing plays out.

please no hate because this is my first wattpad fan fic lol. but constructive criticism is always welcome ! the story is also a little slow at first so bare with me lmao. I hope you enjoy though !

But he's willing to get his hands dirty for the deed. As they all say, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Or, alternatively: Eddie Kaspbrak is a know it all, and believes he has battled heroically through all the high school classes he needs to ace in order to succeed in life and to know what he's doing all throughout. And he does know what he's doing, for the most part, up until Richie Tozier comes along, and fucks everything up. Eddie has to soon realize that life isn't just dots and dashes and letters and numbers. People are people, and life is bigger than he's ever known before. Eddie Kaspbrak is the banker's son who can't keep his eyes off of Richie, looking through the window of the bank. When they meet, Eddie refuses to give Richie his name until he "earns it." So Richie vows to earn the window boy's name, no matter what. "Eddie could feel Richie's eyes burning holes in his back, but he didn't turn around, just tensed a bit. He wasn't sure why. He guessed he knew that if he turned and looked, he'd be met with chocolatey eyes and dark, playful curls and milky, clear skin and an award-winning smile with full, soft lips and a nose that was always a little pink and probably a teasing, 'like what you see, Kaspbrak?' and huge, dorky glasses that somehow brought out every feature spectacularly, pitting them against each other in wonderful juxtaposition. And Eddie didn't know if he could look at that without really, truly falling in love."
