His parents, his very homophobic parents, found out about their relationship and tried to ban them from ever seeing each other. He wasn't about to let that happen; he couldn't! He just wasn't expecting the beating that his parents thought he deserved. What did they expect to do? Beat the gay out of him? So, not wanting to be a bother to anyone. He ran away. What was not on the agenda was running into some old stinky guy with a drinking problem that was LOADED with cash. Or, in other words, Richie Fucking Tozier.
