this is a drarry book. this book would take place after harry defeated voldemort and everything is getting back to normal. everyone is retaking a year because of all the time they lost. mcgonagall has taken over as head master. when they were fight voldemort, the scene they didnt use in the movies, where draco ran to harry to give him his wand, actually happened in this book.

since he turned eighteen, harry decided he no longer wanted to live with the dursley's so he moved in with ron and his family. schools was about to start and everyone had started to finally get back to normal since the battle with voldemort. as far as harry knew, this year there there was going to be record number of first year students, since the fear of you-know-who has finally gone. ron and harry were exited to get the trio back together, but what was waiting for them was a confusion of love-hate relationships, and a new enemy hiding in the shadows.
