Sophie's parents disappeared when she was fifteen and even after three years, they have yet to be found. Suddenly, after her eighteenth birthday, Sophie's body began to change into something that was no longer human. When she searched for answers in the paranormal she found herself sunk deep into a world that she never believed it existed.

** I usually keep my chapters small (roughly 600 words) but I upload regularly (once or twice a week). Thank you for taking time to read my work. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. I gulp and feel the pain again in my chest. His blue eyes come back to my own and I don't even give him a smirk. He lets go of my jaw and with in a flash I see him leave. The thought in my mind is that my mate is fucking hot and I don't know how long I can deny that for or deny the inseparable connection between us. ---- A/N Just a quick note to say that this book indeed does need heavy editing and as a Co-writer I find this story not in my favour. I know the main character Celeste may come across as mean and as a comment mentioned 'annoying' this book will go through editing. But I'd you choose to still read then fantastic! A dystopian story in which people have unnatural powers Lorelai Walters can't remember much of her past. She's always lived on the streets, she never knew home. Then one day, some soldiers turn up in a shopping center where she's staying for the night. They take her to a place where more teenagers live. It's nothing like a home. There, they have to train, though nobody knows what for. When Lorelai decides not to do what she's being told and take things in her own hands, she doesn't know what awaits her. As she tries to escape the people trying to use her-and many others-for their plans, for the first time, she gets the chance to find out what happened to this destroyed and abandoned world-and maybe also about her past. English isn't my first language, so I'd be happy to receive some criticism and also tips. I'd like to know if my story is interesting, so I know if I should go on and how to improve it :) I know, my writing isn't so good in the beginning, but I think it gets better throughout the story.
