Death's Quest

"Did you read about last night's murders?"
I looked up from my phone and stared at her.

"No....what happened?"

"Three bodies was found, in the clearing,near the creek. Blood coating their whole bodies. Limbs were strewn around the clearing, bits of flesh hanging to trees. The Corpse's hearts were missing, and a strange symbol was carved into their foreheads. "

"The faces had been slashed up so badly that, that the police haven't been able to identify who the victims are yet. But they've cleaned out the hair so they know at least some detail about the victims. Here take a look!"

She shoved the phone under my nose and I looked at it, them immediately regretted it. I knew that hair. There was only one family in the whole world who had hair that vibrant, multicoloured and messy hair. Only one family who would do something so odd and so permanent. I turned away and vomited in the bush behind me.

The only people with hair like that was My aunt,uncle, and my 16 year old cousin, Jessie.
