A file was lost by (sorry, "stolen from") the Head of the Reetan Cyberspace Corporation. Yeah. Cyberspace has very low cybersecurity, apparently.
They hire a hacker to retrieve it. Shouldn't take long. Data forensics and retrieval is a cinch for professional grey-hat hackers, right?
Ah, well, there's a problem. The file has no name. It's literally an untitled file. Take a moment to imagine the number of computers in the world. Each one of them can contain millions of files. And this one's specifically not titled.

Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. Given his halfa nature, he's fairly not worried about most parts of Gotham and given he needs less sleep now, he likes to wander campus and Gotham itself like he's a natural Gothathes...at night like the half dead-half living man he was. During these wanderings, he finds pieces of bat tech from fights. He figures it's safer in his care(and because he's really curious about the local vigilantes) so...he takes it. It's usually just tiny things that the bats- probably -wouldn't even notice gone and he has things to fiddle with now. Unfortunately(for the bats), he finds Red Hood's destroyed helmet and takes it back to his dorm to fix, figuring it would allow him to return most of the items he snatched without a second thought. He doesn't realize it has an active tracker in it so the bats, when they activate it and discover it on the Gotham University campus, reasonably panic and flip on the camera...only to come face to face with adoption bait using bits of their missing tech to fix the helmet. Stolen Fate (Final Draft)
It starts in London 1557, when two people were in an argument until they had to defeat each other in order to gain power and trust, however one of them ended up getting trapped inside the sword. This makes the sword more powerful and ends up automatically killing them both chasing a huge explosion. Now it moves onto 2010 when 2 boys become friends as kids they grow together while one has a bad life and the other has a good fantasy that the other one always wanted. The boys were named Derik and Adam, Adam was a good kid and had a good life. He was 15 and it was 2019. Derik was 17 and graduated high school. A while after, in 2022 Adam stole Derik's dream job, soon Adam became friends with Derik's biggest crush. Derik remained a failure even though he graduated, no one accepted him and called him a Dork. Even after Adam was the reason Derik's dog got killed. That was when he ghosted Adam and never spoke to him or saw him again. Later in 2026 Adam is an investigator and noticed that a scar on the ground was shaped like a sword. like it was there for years but he didn't think much of it until buildings started being burnt down 7 times. That was when he got concerned to find out who is doing this. Derik soon slowly left the plot for a while but who knows what's going on. A disaster was even caused 2 years later that never ended. Derik was pronounced dead in 2022 and Adam even forgot about him so he never knew. However his happiness was going to come to an end.Complete
