The Outbreak

A deadly disease has spread through the country, killing half of its population. The government has fallen and the remaining people are either living out in the wild or in a few secured towns. Each run by a mayor, together with a council, they fight for the survival of their people. Going on missions between camps, as their called by normal people, and fighting the people outside the walls and keeping a personal life is hard. Josie is no exception, and trying to find love at the same time as doing all this work isn't easy. When a new mission comes along and the mayor, the very hot Phillip, joins, the mission turns out to be harder than she thought. But what happens when she says "To heck with protocol!" and strays from the mission, endangering the people closest to her? Will she be able to stay in her old life, the life she wants, or will new adventures lure her away from the safety inside the west-camp and will she perhaps find a new love? A love that might not be as new after all.
