The transport ship the Skeld is on a return trip from Phoebe, after taking a contract for the United Nations of Earth. The deal seemed pretty simple: take samples of all the different minerals on the Jovian moon, scan the moon's core, and pick up an unmarked cargo container. The job seemed simple enough; until people started dying.
Now no one is safe, and the crew of the ship begins to turn on themselves as the number of corpses grows. And in their minds, they all ask themselves the same question:
What if that unmarked container wasn't the harmless device that the UNE claimed it was?
(this story is heavily inspired by the game Among Us, and I do not own any of the settings or art.)

Now free for the first time in years Nightmare, Cross, Ink, Error, Killer, Dust and Horror are free from the bounds of whatever was going on. Facing the fact instead of abused skeletons they're asylum escapists. With only Blue, Dream and Lust not threatening them every second of every day they're forced to get to the border. However interaction for the first time in years is going to be awkward and might result in people realising they want t be more than friends... "Congratulations, Miss Duri. You're leading the fifty-fifth voyage to Polus." My initial giddiness wore away under a new and frankly uninvited sense of suspicion. Only an hour ago they were set on selecting anyone but me. What made them change their mind so quickly? "We were wrong about you, Genesis," the woman said. "We now believe you have the potential to do what your unlucky peers could not. However, you should know that there is no room for mistakes." Nareem leaned forward and picked up his chin. On a normal basis, he was about as intimidating as a rabbit. Now, though, he was pretty close to the office cat's level. "Don't mess this up for us, Miss Duri. Otherwise the consequences will be a lot worse than death." --- Genesis has always wanted to lead a mission to the Polus Space Station, orbiting a Jupiter moon millions of miles away. While each attempt to get there has been compromised by the scheming, violent Conclave, Genesis's hopes to become the next captain of the Skeld have not once faltered. When she finally gets the opportunity of a lifetime, Genesis quickly discovers that, despite her caution, all is not what it seems. Her superiors have maintained minimal contact, and she has reason to believe any one of her crewmates could be an imposter.
