"What are you doing out here?" The young Alpha asked me, his forest green eyes full of concern. "Running." I answered simply. And it was true, I was running. Running from the mate that rejected me. I couldn't stay in my pack anymore. I just couldn't. "From what?" He crouched so that our eyes could be leveled. He seemed to be sincerely concerned. "Everything." Everything at my old pack was a reminder of what I could have had. "Why?" He tilted his head, interested. "My mate rejected me." As I said the words my heart seemed to shatter once again and since I wasn't numb with shock anymore I could really feel it. I tried so hard to hold in my tears but one escaped and slide down my cheek. This is why He rejected me. I was weak and pathetic. I would have been a horrible Luna. I looked up and saw that his face was filled with understanding and sadness. "I understand how you feel." He said softly catching the tear that managed to get out with his finger. I laughed humorlessly. "No you don't. How could you?" He was just trying to make me feel better and as sweet as that was it wasn't helping because he really did not know the pain I was going through right now. He stood and offered me a helping hand. Evelyn Moon: She is 18 right now and has a dream of becoming a singer. She is a major klutz. Evelyn sarcastic but is too obvious about it so she is horrible with using traits that runs in her family. She tells terrible jokes then laughs about then and talks all the time. She had brown eyes and brown hair. Her surrounding nature kills off any and all possibilities of trying to look on the bright side of life. She tends to stick around her friends instead of staying home with her so called family. Her family is always working constantly, and she doesn't really get the attention a teenage girl needs. Sure she gets the money but that is not what she wants or needs. She wants a family who will sit and eat around the dinner table asking, "How was your day?" Her father was murdered by one of his co-workers. Her mother is always at work so she doesn't really get those heart-to- heart conversations like most people can. Alice Knight: She is turning 18 in a month and is hoping to become a dancer for Evelyn. She is a senior in high school just hoping to get a good job and become successful in life. She is a bit klutzy and constantly having blonde moments. She passes the classes that she is taking as if it were a fly by to her. She is the witty person of her family and acts just her father. She is also very sarcastic and is always using the trait with ease. She talks all the time and her talking is sometimes compared to the Energizer Bunny, on going, never ends. Alice has brown hair and brown eyes. Alice's surrounding nature is always getting distracted by something. Her family was a normal family. Her mom died in a car crash when she was 13. She got along with her mom a lot better than her dad. After her mom died in the car crash, her dad started abusing alcohol. Her dead and her fight a lot. Her dad makes the stupidest choices ever. She wishes she could have her normal family back. She gets good grades so she can get out of the hell hole she lives in.Complete

No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond. Karma realised how simple it would be to destroy an army even with one X. They were practically indestructible, perfect killing machines, only they'd turned on the government, apparently. Or maybe those bastards had escaped perfectly unharmed, watching how the country was being destroyed. Maybe it was an excuse for overpopulation. xx-xx Karma has been trying to survive for over a year, but it's difficult when X's, mechanical killing machines, roam the streets, hungry for human flesh. Every day that passes by without finding a portal brings the morale lower. They need to escape the country before they all end up dead. It doesn't help that the X's have changed their tactics and are now manipulating people to commit suicide. The death rate keeps increasing, and Karma has to find out what family means, and to what extremes she would go to save the ones she loves.Complete
