There were many to blame: Marry, because after all, she's the one who was infatuated. She was the one who pushed to be pursued. David Henti, he's the one who was meant to keep it from going too far. If anyone had the responsibility to stop, it was him. The nurse after the incident, she's the one who couldn't seal her lips. One could blame Marry's parents for not being around to notice anything, or maybe the school board just the same.
