Returning to Hogwarts after the Second Wizarding War wasn't easy for anyone. The good memories haunt Arabella Grey while Draco Malfoy can hardly find any.
After a war, people rebuild friendships and their lives. Some even go for a fresh start. The two teens seemed to have gotten the hint.
Draco Malfoy is a Death Eater, and as far as he's concerned, his shot at redemption is long gone. He knows the terrible things his side of the war did, and it wasn't something he wanted to be a part of. He had no choice, and he just wished that people were able to see it.
Arabella Grey lost her boyfriend during the Battle of Hogwarts and was left utterly crushed. Despite being in good company and finally free from Voldemort, it seems as if she doesn't have much to look forward to.
When the two of them receive a letter inviting the both of them to redo their seventh year at Hogwarts in order to take their NEWTs, the two young adults almost pass up the chance. But fate seems to have other plans, and pushing the two of them together might just be one of them. It was time for second chances, for them to forgive themselves. The war is over but the scars linger- With each other's company, they find it easier to love the imperfections of themselves.

When Hermione finds her self coming back to Hogwarts for a Manditory 8th year, she is put in a place she shouldn't be. A place too close to Draco Malfoy a place were it should be impossible for her to stand and Draco is determined to find out why and how.
