Disorder is not the absence of control. Disorder, is certainty. If history has taught us anything, it would be of the cyclical nature of the world. In 2012 a surge of massive coronal mass ejection hit the earth, creating what one could only describe as a worldwide Carrington-level event, plunging the world into a new dark age. By the year of 2047, the new world has seen countless kingdoms rise and fall. Aided by the salvaged weaponry of modernity, the gunpowder weapons of a bygone era, and the return of the sword and axe, the new world saw how greed and power consumes men, corrupting them. I was one of the countless mercenary soldiers hired by the Kingdom of Yavva, sent out to reclaim their territory elsewhere outside the Javanese Archipelago. I had hoped that retirement would be the end of this madness. Yet the city I once fought for now feeds on its own people, rotting it from the inside. I can't say whether it is my sense of justice, or of my own ego, I quickly find myself pulled back into a world of contracts, conspiracies, and quiet betrayals. In all this, my question is a simple uncomfortable truth: was order ever innocent? and if not, then disorder may be the only honest response left.

This is an older story, I've gotten better I promise. "I first held a gun when I was eight. I remember a man strolling across a line of other children like me, he said: 'We all have a soldier in us.' I found my soldier. But then, it became all I was. " Being forced into the army at a young age, Olivia knew nothing more than fighting. But after suffering a debilitating injury, she is forced to retire to her dead parents' home. There she'll find the secrets of her world and her humanity. Edit: I'm glad I decided to go against my anxiety and post this story, thanks so much to all the people who have read my story and commented! Your advice and compliments mean the world to me!
