He was known as the boss who never smiled. He did everything he could to protect his team, but wouldn't let them do the same for him.

They worked in the same building for nearly a decade, but never really knew each other. That is, until she caught his eye one morning. He wasn't sure what it was about her- maybe it was the way she smiled at him every morning, or maybe it was the way his heart longed to be loved again, but he found himself interested in everything about her.
