The Demon's Sanctuary
An au of Damian Wayne and Raven romance. *** Nanda Parbat is destroyed. The League of Assassins is completely massacred, all that remains is the seven year old heir of Talia Al Ghul. On the same night, on a separate planet Rachel Roth, known as Raven on Earth and to the superhero community is struck by nightmares of Damian's life. She vows to find the boy she dreamed of and save him from darkness that she knows all too well. Damian promised something too, to murder everyone that was employed to massacre his family and his home. Time skip ten years in the future and Raven is a member of the teen titans, ward of Clark Kent/ superman while Damian is the world's most effective and dangerous assassin. When the two meet will Raven remember her promise to bring back the boy who lost too much? Will Damian let her in? Or is Damian too far gone? Damian Al Ghul has been sent on a mission by his mother, Talia Al Ghul in order to prove his worth to her and his grandfather as a suitable heir to their family. Damian has been raised as an assassin but quickly realizes he doesn't want to become a killer. Whilst on his mission, he runs away and boards any transport he can find. While Y/n's father was getting treated in the hospital, Y/n went on a job hunt. She was allowed to stay in the manor of course but Y/n decided it was best for her to get a small apartment, so she did. Y/n had soon turned nineteen, and she went into training to become a skilled detective for the GCPD. And she hasnt had Any contact with Bruce Wayne even since she arrived at gotham. The only one she talked to was alfred. Bruce of course didnt know that his parents friend had a child. But when he heard the knews. He was most definitely shocked. This girl was also older than him by 11 months. Basically a year. Soon.. the two meet under dire circumstances, her father is dying, and bruce has to help her adapt and overcome. Both of them training in the process under Ras Al' Ghul. Back to Gotham. As friends, maybe more. Personal Warfare
Damian is not known for sharing his feelings. Infact, most of his siblings would argue he doesn't even have any. A certain Al Ghul is definitely to blame for that. What the rest of the Wayne's, including his father don't know though, is that Damian is struggling. He's struggling to find his real worth after being forced to be the best his whole life. But no one can be the best at everything. He's struggling to understand all these new feelings and hormones that teenagers go through. He doesn't have the help of his past family, and his new family thinks his stone cold. Words and things that'd he'd normally have no problem ignoring, suddenly start to effect him. worse though, they effect his ability to fight. His thoughts are plagued with Talias voice, constantly telling him how he's failed her. Can he find the strength to say something? Or will he just hold everything in and keep putting up a fake front? . . . Damian - 16 Dick -25 Jason - 22 Tim -20 (I'll add more characters later but other then the parents, most are around this age.)
