it's kinda like the X reader type of books but you aren't being shipped you technically play as frisk but the book will be in 3rd person but there will be thoughts of certain people of certain things so I might randomly pop in a thought process of sans(classic) or Red but mainly frisk and paps is somewhat aware of the AU's he hadn't met any but he knows they exist Alphys was never told but she had a theory on it. anyways enough ramble I hope you enjoy.

(I DON'T OWN UNDERTALE. The only characters I own are Bailey and Creame.) All the monsters live happily in the underground: until one human ruins everything. Bailey Hill is a normal, 11 year old girl- until she trips, and falls into Mt.Ebott. Quick to befriend the monsters, Bailey is instantly loved by everyone. When monsters start mysteriously disappearing, Bailey is on the case. What she doesn't know, though, is that a small team, co-led by Undyne and Sans, are working as secret spies in the background. After hearing about the disappearances, Bailey thinks she can solve the mystery- but when Bailey has a shocking realization, she realizes that she might not be so innocent after all. ------------------------------------------- Changes: IMPORTANT: Frisk and Chara don't and never exist(ed) Monsters don't mind the underground, so Alphys never did the experiments. Still Relevant: Mettaton never left, and Napstablook is constantly being featured on his show The amalgamates don't exist since those monsters never fell down. Napstablook and Shyren are now younger than in-game, Napstablook - 12 and Shyren - 14. More on Napstablook- Since Mettaton never left, Napstablook is just shy. After breaking free of Chara's grip, Frisk decides to do one final reset before defeating Sans or proceeding to the throne room. But some memories last longer than others, and broken trust isn't easy to repair. Female, aged-up Frisk. Starts out canon and then diverges. Eventual Sans x Frisk. Undertale was created by Toby Fox. What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Credits: Undertale, obviously, created by Toby Fox and Temmie Chang. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel).
