Two twins run away into a forest with no wish to turn back. Death blows in the breeze here, and shadows reek of death. Terror and excitement blur into oblivion as life changes from "It could be worse, I guess..." to, "What the hell is it now?!?" (Un?)Fortunately for these twins, one who is self-proclaimed to be the Sovereign of the Shadows has taken a liking to them. What happens when a bit of teenage angst and a a hell of a lot of pure stupidity leads them to facing the real villians - the ones who seem to have had it out for them since the beginning? [Totally not a basic intro. The mature warning is for everyone's language and self-harm themes in the mother character. Otherwise, it's clean. Sadly enough though, his dad and some 3 boys at school have been tormenting him for years on end. But his life gets a bit better once his parents old high school friends come to surprisedly visit them one rainy evening on a Saturday night in 2019, bringing along their 3 kids, Kai, the eldest and Lily and Ivy, the two younger twins always bickering whenever you set eyes on them. Although once in high school and having more friends, his life still wasn't the best as he did still struggle with his dad and those 3 boys tormenting him, as well as struggling with a few disorders - This is a book about my ocs, my two main ones being Ashton and Kai, and some other 4 main ocs, siding with others in the book. This is a romance book, mainly focusing on Ashton and Kai, but also focusing on the others in the book a bit too. This book is filled with lots of ups and downs, including sad moments, happy moments, and plenty of other moments the characters will face.
