After Forever

When Ruth and Jasper vow to each other that they are forever, they mean it. For once, a teenage romance lasts. Years go by, slow and sweet, when they realize Jasper hasn't changed at all. Age is wearing Ruth down, but Jasper remains the same. An eighteen year old boy with a crooked grin and a glint in his pine green eyes. Unsure of what else to do, and gossip spreading about him, Jasper takes Ruth and goes into hiding. When Ruth asks what happens after forever, Jasper is forced to wonder himself.
