"Huh?" I wake up to a rustling in my yard. I go downstairs to grab my Spas-12 in my closet. I start to load the bullets in the shotgun when my wife screams at the top of her lungs,"N-No g-get a-away from m-me!" I get upstairs to find my wife slaughtered in our bedroom. The site was horrific. Organs spread everywhere. Tongue and eyes cut out. I vomited on the floor. Wiping bile from my mouth, I grab my shotgun to find nobody there. I rush to my kids room to find them slaughtered the same way. I ran outside and saw someone in the bushes I took the shotgun and shot the man in the bushes. I ran over there to see he was gone. I knelt on the floor, and I cried.

"But- but i don't know where my mommy is." The little girl sobbed. Although Mercy had lost her mother when she was fourteen, she still remembers the feeling of helplessness. "Alright. Come on... Just then, I heard a loud bang and I saw a man with a gun burst through the door, an infected woman, the one who had just untied me, leaping at him. They fell into the table I was on, and the entire thing flipped. I was tossed onto the ground, landing hard.
