James and Kylie have been competing since before they could remember. James moved from Minnesota a year before Kylie moved to California.
Kylie tries out for the school's hockey team, but in California? It's James's turf. And he isn't planning on giving it up anytime soon.
But, could their rivalry bring them together? They do have more in common than meets the eye.
After a game, when they get locked in a hotel room by their coach with the instructions of 'sorting it out', let's just say that there's gonna be a whole lot of laughs, scares and kisses on the ice.

A competitive figure skater is forced to trade places with a rival hockey player in order to avoid being kicked out of the rink. Despite my effort to get a response out of him, he smirked as if accepting the challenge. "Besides the fact I am the number one center in the state of Massachusetts?" "Am? Don't you mean was? Now was looks bad on a resume." Aiden's jaw clenched, and in that moment I would have been dead if looks could kill. I was pretty sure that if it'd been legal for him to hit a girl, he would have already been on the ice by now. But it wasn't, and I'd clearly just won.
