It really couldn't get worse, right? It did, though. Danger and hatred swoop in on two wings into Jellyfish's life, and it will never, ever be the same. Plus a really creepy prophecy. We love those. This story is an unofficial 4th arc to the original wings of fire series. There are 5 books planned in this unofficial sequel to our beloved wings of fire. I would like to give huge credits to Tui.Sutherland for coming up with the wings of fire and its universe where this book takes place in, and for giving me the first book series that could entertain me for hours on end. FYI this book was originally drafted when I was much younger so spelling and punctuation mistakes are inevitable, I tried to catch them out but I am just unable to see mistakes in my own writing, so apologies for that. These books will be more gory than the original WoF series but still acepptable for readers above 13, they are kind of meant to be for people a bit older than what was intended with the original WoF. I will and am trying my best to keep the writing style and lore close to how Tui. writes it to make it feel more like you are reading a real continuation of her books. Looking out over the cliff, he saw the source, like a blinding flame that was thousands of times more powerful than any spark. It was round and it rested in the sky far above him, illuminating the ground below. It was strange in more ways than that. Since it seemed as if the sky itself was broken. The whiteness that had completely covered it before had moved. Revealing a bright endless blue behind. There were still patches of that whiteness far above, but they seemed fluffy now, no longer a blanket of dread covering the world. They were all different shapes and sizes, but they had none of the previously uniform aesthetic. The sky was turning bright colors as he watched, reds and oranges, reflecting off those white things into pinks and purples as well, it was the most wonderful thing that Uhar had ever seen, colors he'd never even imagined were in that sky. He watched the world in awe, feeling his ears rise with excitement. If this was the world his ancestors had left behind, he couldn't imagine why they'd ever wanted to leave.
