Waking up in an unfamiliar bed on a ship that was hurtling through space with no memories sounded like a perfectly scripted nightmare. Even her own name alluded her, a empty blank where her entire story should be contained. It was terrifying, and what made it worse was finding the first body and learning that the Imposter wasn't there to play.
They were there to kill, and no one knew who was next.

somethings are slightly different from the games- vents can go to more areas and I'm not giving the Imposter a gun for example. So if something isn't entirely perfect, just ignore it for now. anyways, I'm glad you decide to read this and hope you'll enjoy the story!

The year was 2115. Space travel had been pioneered beyond what anyone in the Old World could have realistically imagined. Humans spread far and wide, across planets and solar systems, transported by robust starships. A new age arose for humanity, one filled with hope and potential. The humans silently swore that the mistakes from the Old World would not be repeated. The unfortunate truth was that one had already been made. A burning curiosity for what is not known, inevitably leads the beholder into the jaws of danger. But danger didn't immediately come then, it waited patiently, until the perfect moment. Among many humans stood a few. Rather usual humans, ones you could find anywhere. Like many, these people flew among the stars, in hopes of safety and stability. What you are about to read has been verified as a first-hand account from one of these individuals. While he is no longer with us, he had requested for his documentation to be published after his passing. --------------------------- Already Inside is a novel adaptation of the online social deduction video game, Among Us. When Red boarded the magnificent Skeld with eleven other crewmates, she was never expecting to get caught up in an outright murder mystery. Isolated in the far reaches of space with nobody but her crew, she must help her team figure out the identity of the impostor who was sent to slaughter everybody. And it could be anybody among them. However, Red realizes that there's more to this slaughter. Throughout a tense and terrifying series of events across starships, planets, and space stations, she must learn sacrifice. The impostor was very likely to spare me seeing that I was on high suspicion. Furthermore, he or she didn't know that I was using admin. I peeked into medbay. I had fully expected it to be someone like Berry or Ray. But no.
