In 1984, when she was 17, Dawn Fulmer was murdered in Los Angeles. Almost a decade later, two psychics gave her the power to be seen by people again, and since then she has been wandering LA passing off as a living person. She made a lot of friends along the way, but none of them knew of her past besides Rose. They were best friends until Rose went off to college. They didn't see each other again until 2017. By then Rose was married with two children (Julie and Carlos), so Rose decided to bring her into the family and adopt her. Rose was the only one who knew Dawn wasn't a living being, and since Rose died, Dawn has been debating telling her friend and sister, Julie, the truth. Things only get more complicated when three familiar ghosts drop into their lives.
