"Well, all you have to do is make him mad, right? Shoving someone off a cliff generally angers them. I think, not that I've tried,"

Born from two Wakandan Wardogs, Abila Najafi was a secret. Though she was Wakandan, she had never been to her home country. When the Avengers assembled three years ago to defeat the Chitauri, Abila was hooked. When hearing about a contest, she decides to submit one of her own stories about the Avengers beating a super bot built by Stark named Ultron, stopping him from decimating the country of Sokovia. But that was the day the world turned upside down.
Wiping herself off the planet, Abila has to hide because of SHE.

"Tarleton calls people like me, like Kamala, Inhuman. He claims we're sick. Violent. Demented. He says our disease will kill us in the end," my voice started warping, the pins and needles spreading across my entire body. "Kid, what's going on?" he asked, staring at me. "SHE's coming out to play," I croaked before the darkness spread over my entire body. SHE let out a horrible laugh. It curdled your blood and chilled your bones.

"Come at me like a real man, or does your religion not allow you to spill blood?" She laughed and further lowered her lips to his ear, whispering, "You're weak and pathetic Captain." *** She was rather irritating, but had a disposition for sarcasm and wit. Fuelled by rage and past pain, one has to cover the obviousness with a bit of humour. Audrey Cecilia Embers, was a broken Christian mystery wrapped in misery. Stealing paintings was her signature style of a message to her competitors, or was it a hobby? Whatever she made it into, the objective is what will be her downfall, getting herself in a bigger mess and ending up in one of SHIELD's jails. The sweet smell of betrayal will be the outcome of this disaster, and she knows who played her. But before she can get some justice, her life spirals into a crazier direction when one family member comes back to haunt her to her grave. Amongst the mess, the assassin is faced with a difficult decision, and not only that, but she meets Captain America himself. He was a soldier in a general sense. He was regal, tall, strong-even handsome. And a gentleman. He followed the law where she broke it. He dotted his I's and crossed his T's where she wouldn't have cared. But when Audrey meets the golden boy, she doesn't like him. He's too gentle, too much about saving people, and very...patriotic. It will have to be up to her whether she can untangle the mess she got herself into or not. | completed book Cover: my own
