Donnie wakes up to another boring day. Every since they destroyed TCRI, the Kraang have been on the down low. Before Donnie could enjoy some peace, though, he starts hearing things. Just whispers at first until he sees it, a strange entity. It begs for Donnie's help but what can HE do? Ever since that day Donnie's felt off. Maybe helping this thing will shake this strange feeling off of him. Little does he know the dangers yet to come.
Can the other brothers save Donatello before he loses himself completely?

After a trip to the junkyard, Donnie and Mikey unknowingly bring home a small, wooden box. Accidentally opened, the box unleashes a thousand-year-old Demon whose only desire is to feed on the fear of others. Untouched for hundreds of years, the demon left the box and immediately turned his attention to finding the one thing he needed to get in touch with the human world. A host's body. Unfortunately for Donnie, the Demon chooses him for the coming haunting, feeding on the fear and slowly wearing down the young genius. Afraid of what his brothers will think if he complains about his 'nightmares' and 'demon hallucinations', Donnie thinks it best to keep his fears to himself. Without the help of his brothers, will Donnie be able to fight off the Demon? Will the Demon succeed in claiming Donnie's body for himself? This is my first story so bear with me. This follows the TNMT movie from 2007, with of course you the lovely reader being added. This isn't the 2012 universe, it has nothing to do with that storyline. This is a female reader, I apologize but you can substitute the pronouns if needed :) Four turtles... four brothers... genetically reborn in the sewers of New York. Named after the great Renaissance masters... and trained as ninjas. They battled many creatures and foes before defeating their archenemy... the Shredder. But now, a greater evil is poised to destroy their very brotherhood. An evil born 3,000 years ago. It was in that time a warrior king named Yoatl led a brotherhood that fought side by side with one purpose: To conquer the kingdoms of the world. Yoatl had a daughter, Y/N, who fought against his will. She believed her family to be wrong, but trained among them to one day stop her father. But nothing could stand in their way... as they left a trail of destruction behind them. In his quest, Yoatl learned of a constellation known as the stars of Kikan. Every 3,000 years, the stars would align, opening a portal to a world of unknown power. Y/N tried to reason with him, but it was too late. He became immortal, but at a price. His brotherhood was turned to stone. And Y/N? She was forced into immortality alongside her father, as the gods saw punishing her for his wrongdoings was a fitting fate for the king. 13 monsters were unleashed into our world. The king was left on earth, unable to die or forget his mistake. Y/N, trapped in time by her father, never forgave him for what he'd done. She always stays close though, hopeful her father has seen the error of his ways. The monsters that were unleashed, contine to plague mankind to this very day. Something rises in the leader, similar to the gut instinct he gains when his team is about to walk into a trap, or there's a danger lurking just out of sight. He knows that it would be easy to leave, to obey his stressed younger brother and allow him to continue his work. In a way, this had been what he'd wanted, hadn't it? But this is wrong. Donnie had left during their argument a few evening before. Left on a horrible note of blame and anger and stress that hadn't faded. His little brother may not have realized it yet, but they needed to remedy this or it was only going to get worse. Leo started this, and now he's going to finish it.Complete
