Ava Clount and her sister where prisoners of the government thanks to a spin of bad luck in the gene pool. It's all Ava's ever really known since she's been stuck in a little room for five of the ten years of her life.
Until the day her sister, with the help of a cyborg named Artemis, broke her out and they all escaped to another world. But freedom comes at the cost of being ripped from her sister and being stuck in a place called Totto land.
A man named Cracker finds her, but she ends up running away, scared of the giant man when he goes into a fit of rage after she strikes out at him in fear.
Ava spends the next few years staying out of reach and running, unable to leave for multiple reasons. Until three years later when she watches her sister fall from the sky, just like she had.
After that all bets are off because her sisters married into the Big Mom Pirates family.
Can she keep herself away from Cracker and his charms and bad temper, or dose she need to accept the cards she was dealt?
