Matsuko Mineta aka Minoru Mineta knew a couple things in life.

1. He was born a girl but always felt like a boy.

2. His parents never approved of him being a boy and refused to acknowledge him as a boy.

3. his parents were emotionally physically and mentally abusive.

4. His best friend Denki Kaminari was the only who knew his secret and if his parents found out he was fucked.

5. he put up a mask of a prevent and happy person so no one would find out.

6. all of class 1a hated him so if they ever found out he might as well die.

That's why no one could ever know he's trans No one could know what went on at home.

but the world works in mysterious ways and things aren't going to go as planned but it may not be as bad as Mineta thinks it's going to be.
