I found myself, on a cross, with nails hammered into my writs. I realized I was not just on the cross, but hanging on a cross. I saw a man, on the opposite side of me. I wondered what he had done to be here. Maybe something stupid like I did?

I noticed another man was getting ready to die, next to us. I saw he had a crown of thorns upon his head. Was he some sort of king? Was this crown of his some sort of mockery? The man was whipped and tortured so much, he looked hardly human. I watched as he was positioned on the cross, with his arms out, and his feet at the bottom. I saw the Roman pick up the first nail and put it to his wrist. The Roman lowered the nail to his skin. The Roman lifted the hammer and threw it down. I heard the cracking of the bone, as it tore through the skin and the bone. The Roman did the same to the other side, and to his feet. I cringed at the sound of the nail going through him, his pain, and the way he looked.

Was I dying with a king? or was this some worthless fool like me?

One moment, I'm tracing my bleeding hand over vivid, newly unearthed frescoes of three striking men in a Late Republican villa, their features eerily reminiscent of the fresco I've studied since I was ten: Roman Senator Marcus Valerius, whose family vanished from history in 50 BC. The next, I'm sprawled across a marble floor in ancient Rome, pinned beneath the hard, commanding body of Marcus himself-flesh and blood, pulsing with raw power. And good grief, nothing captured the fire in his piercing stare or the way his touch ignites my traitorous body. But the history books lied. Marcus isn't the last Valerius. He has three brothers, each more dangerously captivating than the last-men I now know match those cryptic frescoes. Lucius, the battle-scarred warrior, whose heated grappling in the training yard leaves me breathless. Flavius, the silver-tongued diplomat, whose calculated caresses in shadowed corridors unravel my resolve. And Rufus, the freedman with knowing eyes, whose gentle touch conceals a hunger that sets my heart racing. Trapped in ancient Rome with no way home, I'm ensnared in a web of desire and deceit. The Valerii brothers want me-each in their own intoxicating way-and resistance feels like a losing battle. Worse, there is a fifth fresco, and it hides a chilling secret that threatens to upend everything I know. Am I a stranger in Rome, or the key to the Valerii family's mysterious erasure from history? With enemies closing in and time itself against me, I must choose: fight for a way back to my world or surrender to a fate that could rewrite the past.

His irises swirled slowly, an enticing pale silver against his stark black lashes. They illuminated slightly, so quick it was gone in a blink. He broke our eye contact, lifting his head straight. A darkly amused expression appeared. It happened so quickly it seemed like a mask appeared. I blinked myself out of my trance, and turned on my heel to see what was at the receiving end of his humor. Augustus stood there. His face contorted into anger as he took in my ruined dress. His hands shook in his fury. "Roman." Augustus nearly snarled the name. "Have you come to join us, little King? The party was just getting started." So his name was Roman, some big secret. I rolled my eyes at the reveal as well as his taunting sentence. "Davina, what is going on here?" Augustus asked, his eyes full of betrayal. I had never seen him so guarded. I could feel his anger through my bones. His words were careful. What was he talking about? My brows furrowed at the insinuation, "What?" A line of smoke floated around my right shoulder and come between Augustus and I. How convenient. I had the desire to swipe it away but didn't. "What can I say, she...seduced me." Roman purred. His voice was a sensual whisper in my left ear. I subconsciously lifted my shoulder and backed away from it. Not only because he had lost his fucking mind, but also because it shot down my spine, caressing my skin. ** This book contains mature content. [COMPLETED] I was cursed at such a young age, abandoned by my own wolf and the Moon Goddess for something that wasn't in my control. I don't even think having a mate is in the cards for me... ✨🌘✨ I jumped when the final horn sounded, circling the garden before everyone became silent. They all returned to their seats, my father rising from his chair as I stood from my seat along with the other pups. I struggled to breath as we took our position, standing in the centre away from everyone else. My father offered me a reassuring glance though it did nothing to ease my anxiety, all I had to do now was wait. My eyes widened when the moons blue light shined down on me, illuminating my skin as I stared up at the sky in awe. "We thank the moon goddess for the power of her light..." I dropped my gaze back down, my fathers words surrounding us, "...Shall it bathe you and grant you strength, agility, speed like the wolf..." The pups around me began to moan in pain, capturing my attention as I furrowed my brows. Their features were all contorted by an invisible pain that inflicted them but I felt absolutely nothing. My heart raced when their groans of pain became screams but I- I suddenly drop to the ground, a painful throbbing in my head forcing me to the ground. I grip the sides of my head, screaming. I don't know how to explain it but it felt as though my brain was tearing in two, like my head was cracking open. When the pain stopped, I found myself surrounded by wolves, the shifted pups. Looking down at myself, I only see my body, no paws and no fur. I hadn't shifted... ✨🌕✨ Book 2* 'The Wolven King' is the first book and must be read in order to understand this one. ⚠️ WARNING!! This book is mature and should only be read if you are 18+. There are depictions of violence, mature language, sexual behaviour and sexual abuse.

Originally called "My Life is fucked Up" During a life in prison, a girl name Kayla Rocksand was stuck in jail for something that she was blame for. During her time in prison, she overheard policemen saying that the world is coming to the end. She didn't know what that meant so she stayed in the back of the cell. She heard growls and shouts and gun shots. She looked out the cell and seen a policemen shooting at a guy. Only it wasn't a guy. It was a.......... Find out what the guy was by reading about Kayla Rocksands life. Also read about how she found her mate. Her mate changes her from a sarcastic and sassy girl to a emotional girl. . . . I wiggled under my mate, trying to get out from under him. He growled and lowered himself on me so that I couldn't get out. He then shifted as I looked the other way. "Look at me", he growled. I just stared to the side. I suddenly felt large hands grab ahold of my snout. He pulled my face so that I'm looking at him. "Shift", he commanded. I didn't because I don't listen to orders. "I said shift", he demanded again. Again I just stayed there. He then got off me and went behind a tree. He came out with shorts on. "I.said.shift", he growled angrily. I shifted and started to yell at him. "Your not my alpha. I don't follow orders. If you want a submission mate then go to another girl. I didn't even want a mate nor did I want to be in a situation like this", I growled. "I am your alpha and I am your mate. You have to listen to me. I don't want no other girl besides you. You are my mate and your gonna deal with it", he growled back. "No, I could always reject your sorry ass", I scoffed. He didn't like this one bit. He growled and pinned me to a tree. "Your my mate and you better accept it", he growled softly before slamming his lips on me. All I could think is...... 'How did my life get so messed up?'

"Why? Why me?" I said. Why is it my fate that has to be upside down? "You should be happy. Every women will die to be in your place." The jerk in front of me said, smirking. "Well, I am not every women." I snapped. I should never looked at him. "I will make sure that regret bringing me here." I snapped coldly. He looked unfazed. "Are you challenging me?" His voice was masculine. Manly. "Priscilla." He chuckled as he looked at me. I tried to free my hand. The rope was tied very hard. "You were the only women who caught my eyes, baby girl." He said as he placed his hand on my cheek. "My bad luck." I muttered under my breath. "I warned your mother." He continued. "I told her to hide you. I informed her that if I see you again I won't hold back." He whispered. I felt my stomach do somersaults. "Why am I here?" I asked. My voice bold. "You will come to know soon." He replied back. He was way too close. "Aiden." I whispered. He was staring right into my eyes. "I am sorry." He apolozised. I looked at him confused. Suddenly, I felt something sharp cut through my stomach as pain hit my body. I felt the blood running down. He stabbed me... ***************************** My mom used to tell me that I should never look into someone's eyes not knowing them. She told me about this king who ruled the hell. One of his hands slides underneath my dress and between my thighs, trying to separate them. I press them together harder, and see his facial expression-It was dark, he was clearly getting aggravated at my defiance. His fingernails start digging into my flesh, as I let out a weak sob. My voice seemed to have left me as the world around me became nothing. Was I going to accept this? Eyesight blurry, I become dizzy- intense nausea seeping in. I hope I throw up. I hope it disgusts him enough to leave me the hell alone. What if I get away and he follows me to my mom? What if he hurts her? As soon as the panic comes, it leaves. Had someone finally heard my screams and pleas for help? The old man is knocked off of my body in a blur, and I take this chance to crawl away from his hunched form; My bones aching from the hard, dirty floor. I reach the brick wall, and let myself fall limp on a patch of ivy. I suddenly feel tired, my energy was draining. I feel a heating sensation warming up my chest- spreading like a wildfire; My veins turn a glowing citrus, orange color- but it quickly goes away. Did I see that correctly? Although, the weak feeling doesn't go away. I shut my eyes momentarily, only to reopen them to fill my curiosity. I don't see much because of the black blobs coating my vision. The veins on my arms have went back to their normal blue, as if I hadn't seen them turn any odd color at all. Maybe I was hallucinating. I was only able to witness one thing, and I had a sinking feeling that I probably shouldn't have watched. I was able to spot out a masculine figure grab the old man by his neck, and what I saw next shocked me to my deepest core. His eyes turn an intense silky red as his fangs come out quickly and he gives an evil, intimidating smile. "I'm gonna enjoy this." He states in his low guttural voice as he reaches forward and rips the old man's liver out.
